The family of Robert I Cobos are sad to announce his passing on August 3rd, 2017 in San Jose, CA. Robert was born to Jose and Concha Cobos on January 1st 1929 in Downy, CA. Robert is survived by his wife of sixty six years Josephine Cobos, his three sons Steve, Ron and Salvador Cobos, daughter in laws Esther, Margo, and Veronica Cobos, his grandchildren Robert, Christopher, JoVanna, Jacob, Jade, RJ, Great Grandsons Ezekiel and Christopher Jr. Brother Max and sister Sally. He is preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Joe, and Gary, his sisters Margaret, Rosie, Carmen, and Nena. Robert was beloved by his many nieces and nephews. Robert was a supervisor for Durham Meat Company were he retired after thirty six years of service. Everyone worked hard for Robert because he treated all his employees with love and respect. Robert lived a full life of laughter and love. With his fun personality and open heart, he was always the life of the party and first one on the dance floor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Robert was a sharp dresser and a man who could throw down in the kitchen. His biscuits were a family favorite for breakfast. Robert also made the best margaritas and loved to cook for family and friends; only ribeye at his BBQ. Robert traveled the states in his motorhome with his beloved wife, Joe, and Carmen. He always looked forward to Saturday visits with Pete and Francis and staying at Alice's house in Tahoe gambling side by side. Our family and our lives will never be the same. He will be missed deeply but never forgotten. The services will be held at Oakhill Memorial Park 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125 on August 16th 2017 with the Rosary at 7pm and August 17th the Service held at 10am.
